The BSTDB will focus in the next four years on providing financial support to financial institutions and medium sized companies engaged in particular in export generating activities. BSTDB will also explore possibilities to expand financing of projects in infrastructure, including municipal infrastructure.

With BSTDB committing to raising the level of commitments (signed operations) for 2007-2010 it is estimated that an indicative number of about 4 to 8 operations for SDR 23 million (about SDR 5.75 million per annum on average) will be approved by the BoD. Of these, operations amounting to about SDR 20 million are expected to be signed.
